The photographer Olivier Despicht and the videographer Erik Chevalier, both teachers at the Centre d'arts plastiques et visuels de Lille, will conduct visual art workshops from archival photographs.During the session, participants are invited to play with the photographs. Cut out, combine, divert, create, paste, compare, exchange... and appropriate them to reinvent stories! Pêle-MEL, focus on the photographic collections of the MEL Archives This exhibition presents the photographic collections of the MEL from 1970-2000. It offers both a human and technical perspective on various topics related to the CUDL’s skills (housing, transport, roads, etc.), but also on their multiple formats: silver and slide prints especially.
