On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, discover one of the emblematic places of Montpellier: the Carré Sainte-Anne.
Built in the old town of Saint-Firmin, one of the nuclei at the origin of the city of Montpellier, the church of Sainte-Anne was several times destroyed and rebuilt. Its current version, built in the 19th century in a context of modernization of the city, presents a remarkable neo-Gothic architecture.
A true urban landmark, it remains today the tallest building of the Écusson, with its spire culminating at 68 meters.
Let us tell you the story of this site and leave for a real journey in time.
