The city of Montpellier celebrates the multiple influences that have shaped its Mediterranean identity throughout history, through pieces inspired by traditional Arabic, Sephardic, Persian, Greek, Turkish and Kurdish songs.
'Nashaq' means 'the kiss' in Aramaic, in both its carnal and spiritual dimensions. This multilingual creation is a true ode to the multicultural richness of humanity.
With Marie Trezanini, composition, singing and poetry, Anne-Marie Regnault, violin, Ariane Lallemand, cello, John Samy, ney, and Youssef Hbeisch, percussions.
