Do you know «La Villa des Cent Regards» nestled in the district of Aiguelongue, north of Montpellier? It was built in the 1950s by a particularly imaginative Italian mason. Victor Grazi was born in Lombardy 1896\. In 1921, he married Ida Boldini, a native of the same village. Both left Italy in 1922, fleeing fascism and stayed a few years in Isère, before settling in the Montpellier countryside of Aiguelongue. Victor Grazi works as a mason, and in the evening studies by correspondence the courses of the Superior School of Reinforced Concrete of Rome. This mason is passionate about the technique of reinforced concrete: beams, beams, complicated formwork… Around 1950, Victor Grazi, now owner of a land, can realize the house of his dreams.
