In her exhibition "Red bloom", presented in the Orangerie of the Jardin des Plantes, Alice Pallot is interested in the proliferation of green algae. Through photography, she questions the consequences of human activities on the environment.
By immersing her photographic prints in seaweed baths, the artist reveals an invisible toxicity through the alteration of the images themselves. She thus creates an immersive experience in the heart of a polluted natural world and draws the striking portrait of the sick beauty of our damaged environment.
