As part of the exhibition presented at CAUE,

visitors are invited to slip into the shoes of real estate agents... from the future.
In a Imaginary Herault in 2051, they discover astonishing buildings, sometimes absurd, transformed by climate change and past development choices.

The concept:

Observe, imagine, invent.
From situations inspired by the territory, participants create their own "real estate ads of the future":

  • hijacked buildings
  • processed uses
  • (im)likely solutions
    Between play and reflection, they question the way we live today... and tomorrow.

Objectives:

  • Raising awareness about land tenure moderation
  • Understanding the issues of the Hérault region
  • Stimulate imagination and critical thinking
    A fun workshop to imagine futures... and avoid the worst.

"Let’s imagine that the action happens in 2051, let’s imagine the speech of a real estate agency in this future".Galloping urbanization, abandoned town centers, climate disasters... A real estate agent with delirious optimism tries to sell us or simply return improbable buildings to the territory.The exhibition thus reveals a world at the crossroads of the absurd and the dramatic.The point of view adopted for this exhibition is that of a real estate agency in 20251, adopting all the usual codes of the sector, both in terms of how it presents itself and in the drafting of its advertisements.This agency, named "Agence NØ Futur" has the following absurd slogan: " Everything must disappear".https://www.les-caue-occitanie.fr/herault/exposition-photostout-doit-disparaitre-terrains-rendre
