On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, take part in a guided tour of the underwater base, a monument that profoundly marked the Nazairian landscape.
A must-have to understand Nazairian history
During the Second World War, the German general staff chose the port of Saint-Nazaire as a shelter for its submarines.
Between 1941 and 1943, he built a concrete fortress with 14 cells that profoundly altered the face of the city and the port.
